Why we use it
- To take orders, take payment, deliver parcels, and handle returns.
- To create and secure your account.
- To answer support requests.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To meet tax, accounting, and other legal duties.
- To email you about an order you placed. Marketing email is only sent if the law allows it and you can opt out.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed with payment providers, couriers, hosting/IT suppliers, and professional advisers. We do not sell your personal information. If a provider is outside South Africa, we take steps required by POPIA before the information is transferred.
How long we keep it
We keep order and account records for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle returns, and meet legal record-keeping rules, then delete or anonymise them when they are no longer required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on Iris Market.

We use cookies as explained in our Cookie Policy. Essential cookies keep you logged in, remember your cart, and complete checkout. Optional cookies are only used if you choose “Allow all”. You can change that later from the cookie banner on this site.
Your POPIA rights

Children
The shop is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without a competent person’s consent.
